Just got this email from gordonramsay.com – so I thought I’d reproduce the press release here in full!
It is with great delight that we announce the re-opening of Pétrus on 29th March. The re-birth of Pétrus builds upon the successful and prestigious provenance of this restaurant now under Head Chef Sean Burbidge who will offer a modern European menu. He will be working closely with Mark Askew who has excelled as the Executive Chef of Gordon Ramsay Holdings over the past decade.
The new location at 1 Kinnerton Street in Knightsbridge will display a stunning open cellar in the centre of the dining room bringing to view over two thousand bottles of wine. Within the wine list will be thirty-four Pétrus vintages. Read more…

Here is an article that talks about the legendary British Hotel ‘The Savoy’ and the only part of it in which makes it news here – Gordon Ramsay’s restaurant – The Savoy Grill.
Apparently they are dropping over £100 million on refurbishments of the over 120 year old establishment, reports claim that the Savoy Grill was once regarded as London’s power-broking lunch destination par excellence. A quote from the article accredits Gordon Ramsay as saying that he is relaxed about the delay but the grill was one of Gordon Ramsay Holdings biggest money spinners and the reopening cannot come a moment too soon.
Most of the interview discusses the Hotel with only a few lines dedicated to Gordon Ramsay and the Savoy Grill – check it out here http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/lifestyle/article-23802696-will-the-savoy-ever-regain-its-long-lost-glamour.do

In what is clearly a monumental stuff up, the new look Gordon Ramsay website, which was announced on Twitter seems to be carrying some very old information!

Is Marcus Wareing Back at Gordon ramsay's?
The new ‘flash’ layout of the website is a little clumsy and didn’t detect my flash player initially. The new site features Angela Hartnett and most surprisingly Marcus Wareing at his old haunts Petrus and the Savoy Grill. No mention of any of the other chefs or overseas restaurants.

Time Travel? Is Marcus Wareing Back?
I can only guess that this is an old project, some of the raw data of which hasn’t been updated, although news sections are as current as www.gordonramsay.com has ever been!
Too funny
