Here is another great Gordon Ramsay interview, where he touches on some of the more recent dramas of the past six months, his experiences on hit television shows Hell’s Kitchen and Kitchen Nightmares and confirmation of Cookalong Live for the US in December of this year. This interview also gives some insight into what Australian and more specifically Melbourne can expect when he launches his internationally renowned ‘Maze’ restaurant early next year (and on the back of the very successful ‘Maze” launch in South Africa). This will be the fifth ‘Maze’ to be launched and their much doubt as to whether this would go ahead after Gordon ramsay’s own confirmation last week in a Times UK interview that his business was close to folding, which forced the very public sell-off of a number of his overseas ventures.

Gordon Ramsay’s first stop on his nationwide tour is Melbourne for this weeks Good Food and Wine Festival and will be appearing multiple times each day for the three day event – where organisers will be charging a premium to see him (every other chef and cooking demonstration is covered in the admission charge!).

It will be interesting to see if Gordon Ramsay is given the same ‘rock star’ treatment by the Australian public that he received when in Australia last year, considering all of the recent controversy that the last six months have brought him.

I just came across this fantastic Gordon Ramsay Interview recorded last year, shortly before the release of the second series of Kitchen Nightmares USA and only days after the great “Gordon Ramsay vs the Puffins of Iceland” incident.

Gordon Ramsay speaks about Hell’s Kitchen and Kitchen Nightmares and what a great but different rush, each one gives him. He also gives some great advice on cooking and opening restaurants (when to and when not to bother!) as well as his favourite Puffin recipe.

The interview is 15 minutes of fantastic audio and gives you an insight into how passitionate Gordon Ramsay is, he probably gives hundreds of these interviews every month, yet this one especially, doesn’t seem like he is just giving stock standard answers!

Gordon Ramsay also gives his thoughts on how restaurant qualifications should be overseen by the Government, his thoughts on chefs who copy and are inspired by his recipes as well as what the F in the F-Word television show means!

This Gordon Ramsay interview also gives listeners a few hints on his new television show in the USA a cross between Cookalong Live and the F-Word.

Apparently ‘New Magazine’ (looks like the same OLD crap to me) is telling the world via an un-named source, that Tana and Gordon Ramsay will renew their wedding vows in the new year – as reported by the Sun newspaper (couldn’t find anything about it on their website).

They also report (oxymoron?) that Tana is cutting back her work television work in order to accompany Gordon to the USA for the next filming of Kitchen Nightmares, in order to spend quality time together.

Apparently that all this rag says on the matter, so don’t contribute to this second rate news cycle – no need to buy the mag and give them anymore money, you’ve got the “top secret” gossip already.

This story comes hot on the heels of another press release from www.shopperbonus.com.au that 37% of the 640 polled think less of Gordon Ramsay since the affair allegations. This report from another Australian source – newsmaker.com.au says that 4% like him a lot more! Should we even listen to a poll about 640 people who are members of a website dedicated to competitions and offers? They probably aren’t the target market for Gordon Ramsay Restaurants after all (the cookbook empire maybe – if they can get then cheap!!)

One source with slightly more pull (yes, pun intended), the Daily Star in the UK states that Gordon Ramsay is ranked second as a celebrity that Brits love to hate, a title which they accredit to claims of infidelity.

Hopefully that satisfies your appetite for the rest of the year for worthless unsubstantiated Gordon Ramsay Gossip??!!

It has been confirmed that the top rating show Hell’s Kitchen will be returning to television screens (not to mention youtube and torrent sites for all of us addicted overseas viewers!) in January of 2009.

According to the Fox website, Season 5 of Hell’s Kitchen will air Thursday January 29 at 9pm / 8pm Central Time

This show was apparently filmed right after the fourth season, and will air despite claims by some news outlets that reported shooting had been cancelled or postponed.

Casting for seasons 6 and 7 were held throughout the United States in October of this year and we can possibly expect to see another by the end of the year along with a new Kitchen Nightmares UK, Kitchen Nightmares USA and a new show called Man Camp.

Let’s hope that Gordon isn’t being overexposed (no pun intended!)
