A few more details for Gordon Ramsay’s new US show Masterchef have now been nailed down.
Apparently the show will air on a Thursday and will be piggybacking Hell’s Kitchen for part of it’s season (I can see the headlines now – stay in for Gordon Ramsay night on Fox) July 29 is the magic date, but it seems it will only air once per week (the Australian version on which it was based aired five days a week (from memory)).
Fresh from Gordon Ramsay’s Twitter Feed (@gordonramsay01) comes news that they have just filmed their 100th episode of the hit show Hell’s Kitchen in the USA.
Here’s Gordon’s tweet “most amazing day, 100th episode celebration on set. a real milestone, congrats all!”

That’s right, our favourite chef has now entered the 21st century and now has his own personal twitter handle. News broke in mid January of this year that Gordon Ramsay was undergoing ‘training’ and was to start broadcasting his life (on his terms) to the world via the popular social media site.
True to his words (and offically verified by Gordon Ramsay Holdings) his twitter handle in GordonRamsay01 and thus the website http://www.twitter.com/GordonRamsay01.
Sign up and follow the great man now! We at The Plonker Club will also grab the RSS feed of Chef Gordon’s tweets and post them here (I’m sending an email now to make sure that it is ok) so you can follow his exploits here if your aren’t Twitter proficient!

For those Hell’s Kitchen fans, just came across this article on Rock (series three winner) and what he is doing at the moment. I must admit I mis-read the story, thinking that he is actually serving nuggets on a restaurant campus! I didn’t know that Rock was so well educated. I’m glad to hear that he is doing so well, when I was in Vegas a few years ago a went to Green Valley Ranch and was told that he wasn’t in the restaurant anymore and that he’d moved into customer service or something.
Here’s what Rock says about Gordon – “He’s a hard ass and that’s an understatement.”
Here’s Gordon and Rock -
“Rock deserved to win Hell’s Kitchen,” “He’s a very confident cook, and he has become a very good leader. He can motivate staff, he can create. All those qualities are not easy to find in one, Chef Rock has all of them”
