Two More New Gordon Ramsay TV Shows this Year!

Author: Gordon Ramsay Unofficial Fansite  //  Category: Best Restaurant, gordon ramsay television, Great Escape, Ultimate Christmas

In January we learned of “Gordon Ramsay’s Best Restaurant” (click here for more details), then Gordon filmed a new series of Hell’s Kitchen and is about to embark on Masterchef in the US. Well it seems that UK viewers have two more Gordon Ramsay TV series coming their way this year, courtesy of Channel 4, according to the C21 media site.

The announced Ramsay’s Best Restaurant will air in the British Autumn and will be a twelve part series.

The surprising news is a new series of Gordon Ramsay’s Great Escape. On the back of a lukewarm reception for the Indian adventures (and associated cookbook, of course!) this four part series will see Gordon Travelling throughout Asia.

The final show will be Gordon Ramsay’s Ultimate Christmas, which will be two sixty minute episodes.

Stay tuned for more details as they become available!

New Gordon Ramsay Television Show – Ramsay’s Best Restaurant

Author: Gordon Ramsay Unofficial Fansite  //  Category: Best Restaurant, gordon ramsay television

We now have some more information on the new Gordon Ramsay television show, courtesy of a representative from Optomen Television. Gordon Ramsay’s new television show is called Ramsay’s Best Restaurants and at this stage the only information that they are giving away is the entry page on the Channel 4 website that we alluded to last month and the twitter address for the new show – which is RamsaysBestRest (click for the link).

The criteria for nominating your favourite restaurant in the UK is only that the restaurant be independently owned and preferably one without awards such as Michelin stars or AA Rosettes. The judging criteria for nominess is based on quality food, quality of service, passion and pride of owners plus their ability to go above and beyond for their patrons. Restaurants should have at least two chefs, no criminal record (or charges pending) and obviously be available and agree to terms and conditions of shooting schedule (which to date hasn’t been named).

The nomination form can be found at this address http://www.fword.tv/nominate.aspx

There is a take part letter than you may want your nominated restaurant to complete – which can be found here http://www.channel4.com/food/on-tv/GR%27s%20BR%20Take%20Part%20Letter%2007%2001%2010%20v2.pdf

The categories for the restaurants are:

*British

*French

*Italian

*Indian

*Asian

*Rest of Europe

*Fine Dining

*Open

Check out the twitter feed, we’ll bring you more as it is released!

Gordon Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares USA on UK TV

Author: Gordon Ramsay Unofficial Fansite  //  Category: gordon ramsay news, gordon ramsay television, Kitchen Nightmares

The far inferior American sister show to Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares, will air on Channel 4 Feb 12 at 9pm only weeks after the third season of series premiered in the USA. First to get the now reduced three day Gordon ramsay treatment is the Hot Potato Café in Fishtown, Philadelphia.

Watch at your own peril!

Will Gordon Ramsay’s Next Co-Host Be Wife Tana?

Author: Gordon Ramsay Unofficial Fansite  //  Category: gordon ramsay restaurants, tana ramsay

Normally most of the stories that pop-up on my Gordon Ramsay Google Alert is just useless gossip. This story may well be the same, bolstered by interested in Gordon Ramsay’s wife Tana now that she is competing on ITv’s Dancing on Ice in the UK, but we thought this one was at least worth passing on.

It seems with the lower than expected ratings for the F Word, unnamed insiders are suggesting that Tana would be an appropriate co-host for Gordon. No word yet whther it will be a revamp of an existing show (F Word being the most obvious) or a brand new concept, but three different sites are running the sam estory word for word. Click here to follow the link first one I came across.

New TV Show for Gordon Ramsay? Gordon Ramsay’s Best Restaurant

Author: Gordon Ramsay Unofficial Fansite  //  Category: Best Restaurant, gordon ramsay news, gordon ramsay television

Just as the final episode of the F Word aired (don’t worry no spoilers here), Channel 4 have announced that the have already begun voting for the best ‘unsung’ restaurant in the UK for 2010. The only difference here is that it seems to be for a new TV series, as the entry form says nothing about the F Word? In fact it states that “The best restaurants in each category may be featured on-screen in a future Channel 4 series.”  The website mention Optomen and One Potato, Two Potato (Joint production company  with Optomen and Gordon Ramsay’s – see http://www.optomen.com/onepotatotwopotato.aspx) which also hints at their being a new show.

The title of the introductory page is “Gordon Ramsay’s Best Restaurant” and then after many of the links follow to http://www.fword.tv/nominate.aspx – yet F Word Dot TV isn’t a functioning site and redirects to the Optomen page. Then the contact email is bestrestaurant2010@optomen.com

All very confusing – regardless here is the link to the initial Channel 4 page from which you can get all other links – http://www.channel4.com/food/on-tv/gordon-ramsay-s-best-restaurant-intro-page_p_1.html

Guess we’ll have to wait for more information – or a beter detective than me!
