Author: Gordon Ramsay Unofficial Fansite  //  Category: Main Content, gordon ramsay news, tana ramsay

We got the news a few hours ago via a Gordon Ramsay tweet (@gordonramsay01) that his wife Tana,  was named Celebrity mother of the year by Tesco magazine. Gordon’s tweet read “http://www.google.com/hostednews/ukpress/slideshow/ALeqM5hp3MUcV08n3At7sxoQj6Yb9_W_wQ?index=0 well done babe, very proud. and of the zoo x”.

Gordon, when are you going to learn how to shorten URL’s??

Mark Sargeant Talks Leaving Gordon Ramsay

Author: Gordon Ramsay Unofficial Fansite  //  Category: Main Content, gordon ramsay interviews, gordon ramsay news, gordon ramsay restaurants

In the latest edition of ‘Restaurant Magazine’ in the UK, former right hand man Mark Sargeant is featured on the cover and talks about, among other things how he cried when telling his mentor that he was leaving Gordon Ramsay Holdings.

“Sarge” as he is affectionately called was quoted  as saying “It was the hardest decision of my life, like getting divorced,” when discussing his agony over leaving the company with which he made his name after thirteen years of loyal service. He stepped down from Gordon Ramsay at Claridges early last year and then broke all ties in November, although he denies that it was on bad terms.

The teaser article, which you can find by clicking here, also says that he talks about Gordon Ramsay’s temper (what more is there to say?) and the pressure of opening at Claridges amongst many other things

I’ll have to ‘go to the videotape’ but I’m fairly certain that Sarge was one of the two chefs being blasted and matched against each other one one of Gordon’s first television shows (which aired last millenium!) – Gordon Ramsay’s Boiling Point.

What is with Fox and Gordon Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares Scheduling

Author: Gordon Ramsay Unofficial Fansite  //  Category: Main Content

FOX – why can’t we just have Kitchen Nightmares run to schedule? Last years schedule was ridiculous, season 2 took four months to show twelve episodes. The follow-up episode from Season One was shown September 4 and didn;t finish until January 15.

In fact the last episode of season two – Casa Roma – was supposed to be shown January 22n and has now been put back until March 5, 2010 – fourteen months after scheduled. I hope the restaurant wasn’t banking on the publicity to keep them afloat (which at least one restaurant from season 2 claimed!).

While it isn’t the best Gordon Ramsay show, we still need our fix!
