In 2005 Gordon Ramsay made history with a £100 truffle based pizza, which he sold out of Gordon Ramsay’s Maze in London’s Grosvenor Square. It was a thin pizza base topped with onion puree, truffle paste, fontina cheese, baby mozzarella, pancetta and cep mushrooms and sprinkled with shavings of fresh Italian white truffle.
Then last week on Twitter Gordon Ramsay announced that pizzas were going on the menu in Hell’s Kitchen, which he is currently shooting in Los Angeles.
Now, in a recent report from Britain’s Telegraph newspaper, “They are planning to add seating to Nonna’s delicatessen at the York & Albany, which has a wood-fired oven,” says his spokesman.
“The gourmet pizzas are proving extremly popular. This is definitely not a relaunch of the restaurant, which is doing well.”

Here is an article that talks about the legendary British Hotel ‘The Savoy’ and the only part of it in which makes it news here – Gordon Ramsay’s restaurant – The Savoy Grill.
Apparently they are dropping over £100 million on refurbishments of the over 120 year old establishment, reports claim that the Savoy Grill was once regarded as London’s power-broking lunch destination par excellence. A quote from the article accredits Gordon Ramsay as saying that he is relaxed about the delay but the grill was one of Gordon Ramsay Holdings biggest money spinners and the reopening cannot come a moment too soon.
Most of the interview discusses the Hotel with only a few lines dedicated to Gordon Ramsay and the Savoy Grill – check it out here http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/lifestyle/article-23802696-will-the-savoy-ever-regain-its-long-lost-glamour.do

tana ramsay
Normally most of the stories that pop-up on my Gordon Ramsay Google Alert is just useless gossip. This story may well be the same, bolstered by interested in Gordon Ramsay’s wife Tana now that she is competing on ITv’s Dancing on Ice in the UK, but we thought this one was at least worth passing on.
It seems with the lower than expected ratings for the F Word, unnamed insiders are suggesting that Tana would be an appropriate co-host for Gordon. No word yet whther it will be a revamp of an existing show (F Word being the most obvious) or a brand new concept, but three different sites are running the sam estory word for word. Click here to follow the link first one I came across.
