Gordon Ramsay Interview – Jay Leno August 4

Gordon Ramsay has once again appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

Gordon Ramsay was involved with a little skit at the start of the show, and then appeared onstage 18:45 minutes into the show as the first guest to talk about Hell’s Kitchen and Masterchef (during the intro Jay Leno announced that Masterchef had the biggest premier of the summer).

Gordon Ramsay and Jay Leno have a great history of verbally sparring across the desk and over the stove.

In tonight’s performance, Jay immediately called Gordon out for his tweet “going on @jayleno tonight, love being on the show but my god he can’t cook! So tonight we’re going back to basics”.

Later they talked about their common heritage – Scottish mothers and their cooking, discussed Masterchef (and why Gordon has turned down the intensity for this show), his early cooking years in France and other topics.

If you were wondering, and playing along at home, it took about five minutes for the first ‘bleeped out’ word from Gordon Ramsay.

Gordon was also plugging Gordon Ramsay Plane Food and ‘shamelessly” using his kids as well as his now standard food “story” that involved his kids and lambs brains!

Gordon’s segment ended with the usually mockery, cooking a meal that Gordon suggetsed not even Jay could stuff up – pancakes! I don’t think Jay believed that a measure of butter was called a “knob”!

Gordon Ramsay vs Sofia Vergara??

During the reporting of this appearance some of the gossip rags (including SFGate) played up the “fight” between Gordon Ramsay and the other guest Sofia Vergara (who says that she has eaten at a number of his restaurants) – when Gordon described her favourite Columbian dessert (which she brought along) as a “bleep” fudge! She did take a backswing, but it was all in jest! She did slap Gordon a little later, but that was after he slapped her on her buttocks!  Gordon was back to his flirting best and despite a few unsults above her son’s name amongst other things it did end in a friendly embrace!

Immediately after the show, Gordon Ramsay tweeted that he was backstage with the other guests – here is the video where he talks about his co-stars boobs and rating Jay’s cooking!
